The Foxes will play their final fixture of 2018 on Saturday when they host Neil Warnock’s men at King Power Stadium in the Premier League (3pm GMT kick-off).

They have already contested seven games in all competitions this month, beating both Chelsea and Manchester City in dramatic fashion in the space of just five days.

And aside from midfielder Matty James (fitness) and defender Daniel Amartey (ankle), Puel believes he will have a wealth of talent to choose from this weekend.

Claude Puel has seen his side defeat Chelsea and Manchester City in just five days over the festive period.

Puel said: “There are no injuries, but after I don’t know. It’s always a difficulty after two strong games. I don’t know for the moment, but I think all my players are likely to play and to perform.

“The most important thing is to be ready for different play and a different team because people think it will be easy to perform and get a result against Cardiff, but it’s another way, another game, another opponent with other difficulties.”

Discussing Jamie Vardy's fitness, the manager continued: "He’s not injured, like all the other players, he played two strong games with a lot of intensity and we will see tomorrow morning as I haven’t made my decision about the team yet."

Puel lauded his side for their gutsy displays against Chelsea and Man City, but says they must now develop their play in the coming games.

We needed to perform on the counter attack and set attacks also. If we want to make progress and get a good ranking in the table, we need to have this complete game.

“I think it’s important to try to have a complete play,” said the manager. “We needed to perform on the counter attack and set attacks also. If we want to make progress and get a good ranking in the table, we need to have this complete game.

“One season, Leicester managed to play on the counter attack but after it’s difficult. It’s difficult to maintain good results and performances because other teams know how Leicester play. Now it’s important to improve and put in place this good play.”
