City's Under-18s Back On Track With Swansea Victory

Leicester City's Under-18s got back to winning ways with a superb 3-1 success over Swansea City at Landore Training Centre on Saturday.

Following five games without a victory in all competitions, the young Foxes headed to south Wales determined to get back on track in the U18 Premier League South.

Winger Sidnei Tavares, who signed his first professional at the Club this month, opened the scoring inside the opening 15 minutes.

Will Russ, meanwhile, doubled City's lead before Swans forward Josh Thomas narrowed the arrears, but Justen Kranthove made sure of the three just before the hour-mark.

As a result, Leicester's youngsters sit in eighth place in the South division, with 23 points from 18 fixtures, and remain just three points off fourth-placed Southampton.

They next head to Little Heath Sports Centre on Saturday 30 March to face West Ham United (12pm GMT kick-off).
