The 21-year-old playmaker has immediately impressed since joining on loan from AS Monaco in January, registering four assists and scoring once in the process.
Often wearing a wide smile, Tielemans has plenty to be positive about, and while many suggest seventh position is the target for City, the Belgian believes they cannot focus solely on the Premier League table.
“I just enjoy every day, I try to make the best of the training and of the games,” said the Belgium international. “I think for the moment it has gone pretty well and I hope it will go the same way for the next games.
“We have to just see every game, try to win every game and then we will see the table at the end of the season.
“We have two or three contenders for seventh place, but I think we just have to play and not worry about the table.
“I think where we are now is pretty good, but we always want to be better and to do better and that’s what we have to do.”
Tielemans says he has learnt a great deal from his spell at City, and with six Premier League fixtures to play in the 2018/19 campaign, there’s still room to improve.
“I feel really good,” he added. “The team is feeling really good. That’s the only thing I can say.
“I feel really confident about myself, about my qualities, I work hard every day and I just try to improve my game every day and for the rest, I’m really happy.”
