Football’s power to unite is as strong as ever in Leicester as the beating heart of its community proudly wears the new strip to underline the unity it brings to both players and fans around the world through pride in their team.
The campaign celebrates a unique cultural diversity across all areas of the Football Club and its supporter base, as well as an overwhelming pride in uniting all those elements together behind one shirt and one crest.
Shot in locations across the city, the launch of Leicester City’s 2019/20 adidas home kit, including a return of white shorts, is one that underlines the different meanings that wearing their team’s kit can bring to people from all walks of life.
Football is for everyone, and with the help of the Club’s first team players, Leicester City Women, Club legends, girls in the Regional Talent Club and boys in the Premier League Kicks programme, the launch helped bring the new adidas 2019/20 home shirt to everyone.
All supporters are now invited to join together on Saturday 11 May at the Foxes Fanstore at a special ‘Launch Fest’ to mark the first opportunity for fans to shop for the new adidas 2019/20 home kit in-store.
As well as the opportunity to shop in-store, those supporters who have pre-ordered their kit will be able to avoid the queues by using the Click & Collect service, which is available from 9am.
That gives them plenty of time to make the most of a host of exciting activities in our Family Fan Park outside the front of the Foxes Fanstore.
The fun gets underway at 9am and runs until 6pm, with there sure to be something for everyone.
Whether you try your hand at football darts, take a shot at our inflatable goals or test your skills at football pong, football golf or football pool, there’s hours of fun to be had for the entire family.
Alongside all this, there will be a panna cage, a live band, football freestylers, and on-stage catwalk, in-store DJ and a street artist workshop!
