Ever fancied yourself as a commentator? Think you could bring Leicester City matches to life for listeners? We want to hear from you!

March Sport’s in-stadium commentary service, tailored specifically for supporters with visual impairments, has received praise from both Leicester City fans, local media and the Football League – and now the Club are looking for you to be part of its future.

If you believe you are a suitable candidate for the role, please send an email to info@alanmarchsport.com with the subject line ‘Commentary Application’, including:

  • Your name
  • Your age
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • One hundred words on why you think you’d be a great addition to March Sport’s commentary team at Leicester City

Please note that incorrect applications may be rejected.

The successful applicant will receive training from Alan March Sport Ltd, who provide commentators and training to C.A.F.E, UEFA, The FA, the Premier League, and have provided teams of commentators at the Rio 2016 and London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, as well the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

You must be available on Monday 5 August, 2019 for an all-day training session (9:30am until 5:30pm BST) and be able to commit to roughly 75 per cent of Leicester City home fixtures in the 2019/20 season. Applicants must be 16 years or older as of 1 July, 2019.

Please note that the role is an unpaid volunteer position ran via March Sport, not the Football Club.

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 16 July, 2019 at 7pm BST. March Sport reserves the right to close applications early should they be oversubscribed, so please apply early if you are interested.
