- The Foxes have been in France since Sunday evening preparing for the new campaign
- City will train on Saturday morning before returning to Leicester

After hitting the training pitches on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the Foxes were afforded a lighter workload on Thursday.

Time in the hotel gym and pool allowed them to recover from three days of hard work, which resumed on Friday with two sessions.

Discussing his side’s week in France, manager Brendan Rodgers said: “It’s been very pleasing. It’s the first time [for me] here at these facilities, which are absolutely brilliant.

"It’s set up perfectly for a real good week of concentration and getting your work in. The players have been fantastic and have put a lot of work in from early morning right through until half nine at night. They’ve been working very hard on all aspects of fitness.

"Obviously, this week, we’ve spent a lot of time in terms of talking about our culture and what we’re trying to create and develop here. I’ve been really pleased, but still, there’s a long way for us to go."

City will train on Saturday morning before flying back to England in the afternoon ahead of their first pre-season fixture against Scunthorpe United on Tuesday.
