James Justin Named In England Under-21s Squad

Leicester City defender James Justin has received his first call-up to the England Under-21s squad for their 2021 UEFA European U21 Championship qualifiers against Turkey and Kosovo.

The Young Lions will travel to the Kocaeli Stadium in Izmit on Friday 6 September (8.45pm TRT kick-off) before hosting Kosovo on Monday 9 September at the KCOM Stadium in Hull (7.45pm BST kick-off).

Justin signed a five-year contract with the Foxes over the summer, penning a deal with the Club from hometown team Luton Town, who he joined in 2005. 

He enjoyed a successful 2018/19 campaign with the Hatters and featured 52 times in all competitions as the Bedfordshire outfit secured promotion to the Championship.

The 21-year-old has previously played for England’s Under-20s squad, making his debut against the Netherlands in August 2017.

In addition, youngster Vontae Daley-Campbell has also been named in the England Under-19s squad for their international fixtures against Greece on Thursday 5 September and Germany on Monday 9 September.

The clash with Greece will take place at St. George’s Park, while the Germany game will be contested at Stadion TSV Steinbach.
