The Academy graduate has featured in all four 2019/20 matches, and has benefitted from playing alongside the Club’s experienced stars.

However, City also have many youngsters that have notched up a significant amount of appearances, and for Choudhury, it is highly-beneficial for him to work with them on a day-to-day basis.

“Even the young players here at Leicester still have a lot of experience; many of the young boys have played over 100 games in their careers already,” Choudhury told CITY Matchday Magazine.

“Madders (James Maddison) has played loads of games, so has Dimi (Demarai Gray) and even Barnesy (Harvey Barnes). Plus, we have the likes of Jonny Evans, Kasper Schmeichel and Vards (Jamie Vardy), whose experience is so vital to us and helps us through games.

“We don’t really feel like a young team though. The gaffer wants us to hold ourselves in a certain way and if we want to be a big team, that’s what we need to do. You can’t go into games thinking you’re younger or smaller than the opposition.

“We came away from Stamford Bridge feeling like we deserved to win the game, so that’s a step in the direction of proving that we’re a big side. Hopefully we can carry that on throughout the season.”
