Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel played the full 90 minutes as Denmark drew 0-0 with Georgia in UEFA 2020 European Championship qualifying on Sunday.

- Kasper Schmeichel earned his 49th cap as Denmark were held to a 0-0 draw by Georgia on Sunday
- The Danes remain in second place in Group D of UEFA 2020 European Championship qualifying
- Schmeichel was not tested by a shot on target at the Boris Paichadze Erovnuli Stadioni
- A further seven Foxes could represent their countries on Monday evening

Schmeichel, 32, was making his 49th appearance for the Danes, who were largely dominant at the Boris Paichadze Erovnuli Stadioni against a side 81 places below them in the FIFA world rankings.

The Foxes goalkeeper was not tested with a shot on target throughout the 90 minutes, while fellow Fox and shot-stopper Daniel Iversen, on loan at Rotherham United, was an unused substitute in Tbilisi.

Denmark's best early opportunities to win a third qualifier in six matches both fell to Martin Braithwaite in the first half, but Georgian 'keeper Giorgi Loria twice denied the CD Leganés forward.

Christian Gytkjær, on the other hand, rattled the crossbar in the latter moments for Åge Hareide's men, who defeated Georgia 5-1 in Copenhagen as recently as June.

Following this result, De rød-hvide are currently sat second in Group D with a goal difference of +10, two points below the Republic of Ireland, and one above Switzerland, who beat Gibraltar 4-0.

On Monday, meanwhile, Youri Tielemans and Dennis Praet (Belgium), Jonny Evans (Northern Ireland), Danny Ward (Wales), James Justin (England U21s) and Vontae Daley-Campbell and Luke Thomas (England U19s) could feature for their respective nations' senior and youth teams.
