Background to the Club

Leicester City Football Club, also known as the Foxes, is a top-flight English football club, in their sixth consecutive season in the Premier League. In 2015/16, ranked as 5000-1 outsiders, Leicester City were crowned Premier League champions. 

In 2010, the Club was bought by Asian Football Investments, a Thai-led consortium fronted by King Power’s founder and Chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha. The stadium was named King Power Stadium in 2011 and one year later in 2012, King Power International became sole owners of the Club.

About The Role

Leicester City Academy are seeking an outstanding individual to be a full time member of a larger and restructured academy recruitment team. Working closely with the Head of Emerging Talent and Head of Scouting the new position will ensure that the operations of the department are run efficiently and effectively.

With four Academy graduates in the current First Team squad, a manager that values and understands academy football and a new training ground only 12 months away, there has never been a more exciting time to join Leicester City Academy.

Who We’re Looking For 

As the Emerging Talent Operations Manager, you will be enthusiastic and passionate about young people and academy football.

The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, process and experience in managing significant amounts of data and information, this is an office based position but some evening and weekend working will be required.

Essential requirements

Essential

- Previous experience in operations management.
- Previous experience in managing and using data to generate insight and actions.
- A passion for young people and sport.
- Excellent IT and written skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, reliability and the ability to ensure confidentiality at all time.
- Friendly, well organised with the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
- Possess strong time management skills and have a flexible approach to work.

Desirable

- FA Talent Identification Qualifications
- Qualification related to data analysis or operational management
- Experience in working in an elite sporting environment.
- A full clean driving license

Hours – 37.5
