Six years to the day (24 May, 2015) that Leicester City beat Queens Park Rangers 5-1 at King Power Stadium to round off their Great Escape season, we look back at some of the Foxes' biggest Premier League wins.

Having already secured their Premier League status with a goalless draw at Sunderland a game prior, the Foxes were able to celebrate retaining their top-tier status in style.

That success is one of City's largest in the Premier League, and LCFC.com recalls several others below...

Derby County 0 Leicester City 4
26 April, 1998
Goals: Heskey 1, 8, Izzet 2, Marshall 15
Attendance: 29,855
Manager: Martin O’Neill

Emile Heskey scored twice during the convincing 4-0 triumph against Derby County.

Emile Heskey, aged just 20, scored twice at Pride Park, netting after just 85 seconds and then again in the eighth minute either side of a header from Muzzy Izzet. Already 3-0 up inside 10 minutes, Ian Marshall scored City’s fourth of the game with 15 minutes gone, which proved to be his 10th strike of the season and the 100th of his 14-year career at the time.

Leicester City 4 Leeds United 0
15 September, 2003
Goals: Nalis 20, Dickov 23, 83, Scowcroft 90
Attendance: 30,460
Manager: Micky Adams

Lilian Nalis' brilliant goal opened the scoring in a 4-0 win over Leeds United.

A 4-0 demolition of Leeds United began with a barnstormer from Lilian Nalis with 20 minutes on the clock in Leicester, while Paul Dickov’s double and an injury-time strike from James Scowcroft saw the Foxes register their first win of the 2003/04 campaign. Having previously been beaten by Chelsea and Aston Villa, a thumping triumph followed on Filbert Way for Micky Adams’ men.

Leicester City 5 Queens Park Rangers 1
24 May, 2015
Goals: Vardy 16, Albrighton 43, Ulloa 51, Cambiasso 52, Kramarić 86
Attendance: 31,467
Manager: Nigel Pearson

Esteban Cambiasso became a cult figure during his only season as a Fox.

Many would have billed City’s final game of the season against Queens Park Rangers as a vital fixture in the 2014/15 relegation fight, but Leicester’s goalless draw at Sunderland secured their Premier League status a game prior. That led to a fine performance against the London outfit, as five separate goalscorers helped Nigel Pearson’s side to a 5-1 triumph in Leicester, including Esteban Cambiasso, who found the net on his final appearance for the Club.

Leicester City 4 Swansea City 0
24 April, 2016
Goals: Mahrez 10, Ulloa 30, 60, Albrighton 85
Attendance: 31,962
Manager: Claudio Ranieri

The Algeria international attacker's 10th-minute goal initiated a superb performance against Swansea.

Without the suspended Jamie Vardy, striker Leonardo Ulloa stepped in to score a brilliant brace against Swansea City at King Power Stadium to move the Foxes within a win of the 2015/16 Premier League title. Riyad Mahrez’s early strike set the tone on Filbert Way, before Ulloa’s double and an effort from Marc Albrighton saw the Foxes record a 4-0 victory. A draw in their next game against Manchester United ultimately sealed the title to spark wild celebrations across the globe.

Leicester City 5 Newcastle United 0
29 September, 2019
Goals: Ricardo 16, Vardy 54, 64, Dummett o.g. 57, Ndidi 90
Attendance: 31,168
Manager: Brendan Rodgers

Scoring first gave the Foxes confidence to push on for more.

City’s biggest-ever Premier League home win came at a rain-lashed King Power Stadium on Sunday 29 September, 2019, as they returned to third in England’s top-flight standings to register their fourth victory from seven 2019/20 outings. Ricardo Pereira’s superb low drive opened the scoring, before Isaac Hayden was dismissed just before the interval for the visitors. After the break, Vardy scored twice either side of Paul Dummett’s own goal, while Wilfred Ndidi’s well-taken effort rounded off the scoring on Filbert Way.

Southampton 0 Leicester City 9
25 October, 2019
Goals: Chilwell 10, Tielemans 17, Pérez 19, 39, 57, Vardy 45, 58, pen 90, Maddison 85
Attendance: 28, 762
Manager: Brendan Rodgers

Youri Tielemans scored one and set up another as City surged to a 9-0 triumph.

Quite simply one of the most remarkable victories in Leicester City's history arrived in late October 2019 when a sensational performance yielded the biggest away win the Premier League has ever seen. Two trebles from Ayoze Pérez and Jamie Vardy, alongside strikes from Ben Chilwell, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison, helped City create history in torrid conditions on the south coast.

Leicester City 5 Sheffield United 0
14 March, 2021
Goals: Iheanacho 39, 69, 78, Pérez 64, Ampadu o.g. 80
Manager: Brendan Rodgers

Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first hat-trick for Leicester City against Sheffield United last month.

Leicester equalled the Club's record for the biggest home win in a Premier League fixture when Sheffield United arrived at King Power Stadium in mid-March. It was a memorable occasion for Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho in particular, who bagged a hat-trick on the day to continue his fine run of form in front of goal. After opening the scoring in the first half, Ayoze Pérez doubled the Foxes' advantage, before a late own goal put further gloss on the scoreline for Brendan Rodgers' side.
