The Foxes are through to the quarter-final stage of the competition for the third consecutive year, after beating Newcastle United 4-2 on penalties at St James’ Park, Luton Town 4-0 at Kenilworth Road and Burton Albion 3-1 at Pirelli Stadium.
The fixture falls between a home encounter against Norwich City on Saturday 14 December (3pm kick-off) and an away trip to Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City on Saturday 21 December (5:30pm kick-off) in the Premier League.
