The Belgium international has started City's two most recent Premier League fixtures, during which Brendan Rodgers' men extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to 10 matches.
With Everton up next, who the Foxes defeated earlier this month in the league at King Power Stadium, Praet says he and his team-mates are aware of the test which awaits them on Merseyside.
Under the caretaker management of former Toffees striker Duncan Ferguson, the nine-time English champions have sealed four points from daunting fixtures against Chelsea and Manchester United.
Speaking ahead of Wednesday's clash, Praet, who joined the Club in the summer, told LCFC TV: "Yes I think that will be a big test, maybe the toughest we’ve had already in the Carabao Cup.
"Everton are a really good team, I think now they’re doing better in the Premier League so it will be a hard and tough game with Everton.
"I think they weren’t doing too well in the Premier League but their gaffer changed and now they’re doing better, they’ve got some good results now so you know it will be a tough game."
While the Foxes will have been disappointed to lose their eight-game top-flight winning run in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Norwich City, Praet nonetheless believes the momentum is still present.
"We had a really good run, we’ve played now with 1-1 against Norwich but that doesn’t end our momentum," the former U.C. Sampdoria midfielder continued.
"We have to keep going how we were doing and we’re going to Everton to win the game."
