Leicester City's youngsters got back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at Belvoir Drive in the U18 Premier League South division on Saturday.

Following last weekend's 3-2 defeat by Fulham, where the young Foxes nearly mounted a three-goal comeback at Motspur Park, they welcomed the Seagulls to the Club's training ground.

City were awarded a penalty after 37 minutes on Saturday, with Kasey McAteer stepping up to convert from the spot, before adding another goal to his tally just before the interval.

Following the break, meanwhile, Brighton suffered another setback just after the hour-mark as goalkeeper Roco Rees scored an own goal to give Leicester an unassailable 3-0 lead.

It's a result which keeps City's Under-18s sixth in the league standings, within three points of Brighton, in fourth, ahead of a three-week break in action.

On Saturday 22 February, the young Foxes travel to Shenley Training Centre to face 10th-placed Arsenal (11:30am kick-off), before hosting Swansea City on Saturday 29 February (11am kick-off).
