Scot Bennett's 13th-minute strike sealed a 1-0 win for Newport County at Rodney Parade on Tuesday night, ending City's run as the last-remaining U21s side in the competition.
Leicester's youngsters have defeated Grimsby Town, Sunderland, Doncaster Rovers and Tranmere Rovers in the tournament - something Johansson says he and his team-mates have enjoyed.
"I’m very proud of the team," the Swedish goalkeeper told LCFC TV. "We conceded not the greatest goal after 13 minutes, which [gave us] a bad start, but we kept fighting, kept to the game plan.
"Of course, it’s a hard blow for us. We wanted to get into the semi-finals, but we just have to keep going in the league now.
"It’s a good experience, this cup, for everyone, especially if we want to go out on loan and stuff. This is a good platform to use. We enjoyed it, we enjoyed every single bit of it."
Meanwhile, following Friday's 2-2 draw at leaders Chelsea, the Foxes are currently second in Premier League 2 Division 1, just three points off the table's summit.
With six matches to go in their 2019/20 league campaign, Johansson, 21, says all focus is now on doing their best to end the season as high as they possibly can in the standings.
"Yes, of course, our aim is to win the league," he continued in Newport. "Hopefully we can win the rest of our games and make sure we’re up there."
