Belgium international midfielder Youri Tielemans dropped in to Leicester City in the Community’s half-term Football Camp last week, much to the delight of those taking part!

- Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans made a guest appearance at the Football Camp
- The City starlet was there for a special half-term session at Quorn AFC
- Camps are available for children aged five to 14 years-old

It was a fun-filled day, with boys and girls of all abilities enjoying skills development sessions, challenges, and tournaments delivered by FA licensed coaches.

They all went home with City merchandise as a prize for taking part and, as an even better treat, Tielemans was on hand to show off some skills and get involved in the half-term coaching session, which was held at Quorn Football Club.

He also posed for photos, gave out some tips and even answered questions posed by the youngsters.

“It’s always a pleasure to see the kids play and enjoy it,” the Belgian revealed, speaking at the event. “When they see a professional player they look around and stop playing!

“You remember when you were a kid and there was a football player coming and it’s nice.

“At that age, you don’t think about making it, you just think about enjoying playing and touching the ball.

“It comes with time, naturally when you get to 15 or 16. That’s when you really realise you could do something and go far.”
