With all football in England suspended from mid-March, Foxes stars of all ages have been adhering to UK Government guidance to remain at home and to practice social distancing.
Muskwe, who scored 10 goals in 19 appearances for City's Under-23s before heading out on loan to Swindon Town, says it's naturally been a difficult transition to become acclimatised to.
"With the global pandemic going on, everyone’s finding it difficult, even footballers, as we’re not used to being indoors for this long, we’re just raring to get back outside," the 21-year-old said.
"I've been mixing it up. Sometimes I’ll go for a cycle around my area. I’m doing runs, which I’ve been given by either Leicester or Swindon to complete, and I provide that data to the sports scientists.
"In addition to that, we’ve had online sessions, home workouts, which we've been getting involved in as a team and completing it.
"All the boys, especially in the Development Squad, are really close, not only on the pitch, but also off the pitch as well."
That bond which exists between the Club's younger players has been particularly evident over previous weeks, with several taking it upon themselves to keep in touch.
Whether it be during regular online coaching sessions, on PlayStation, or with video catch-up calls of their own, the players have continued to socialise in new ways.
"We do a lot of things off the pitch together," Muskwe added, speaking to LCFC TV this week. "So, we’d go for food, go to the cinemas and that sort of stuff before this all happened.
"During this past few months and weeks all the boys have been getting on Call of Duty or FIFA and they all interact through that.
"At other times we’ll just be on FaceTime to each other and just group calls and that sort of stuff.
"I think you don’t really miss it until you’re not allowed to do that sort of thing, so I guess now it hits you, not seeing my boys as much as I’d want to, and how much I normally would."
Before joining Swindon, Muskwe was in magnificent form for the Foxes during the early stages of the 2019/20 Premier League 2 season, which has since been curtailed due to COVID-19.
The Zimbabwe senior international looks back on that period fondly, remembering impressive victories over Sky Bet League 1 sides Sunderland and Doncaster Rovers in the Leasing.com Trophy.
"I think from September up until January, when I went on loan to Swindon, the team was in a really good place," he continued, reflecting on his - and the team's - performances.
"We were second in the league, fighting to win the league, still in the [Leasing.com] Trophy, so we were beating teams like Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, which was a huge win.
"We’d gone to Doncaster and beat them comfortably 3-0 away from home. I think the next fixture for us was Newport by the time I left, so we were in a really good position going forward.
"I was on a run of about 10 goals by around January time, so I was looking to get into the 15/20 mark by the end of the season, but the team was winning, more importantly.
"I was playing my part in the team and others were pitching in with goals as well, so it was just a good team effort."
