The Portugal international right-back sustained the injury during Leicester City’s 4-0 Premier League win over Aston Villa in early March.

Since then, he has reported that his condition is improving on a daily basis, and hopes his positive development will please the Blue Army.

“Very good,” Ricardo said when discussing his rehabilitation. “I feel more confident. I feel more strength in my leg. I'm starting to build my muscles again.

“The knee is not as swollen as it was. So, I feel very good. I can move normal as before when I'm at home and moving so much better. I'm very happy with my rehabilitation for now.

“I'm with a big smile because of that and I'm happy with the development of the injury.”
