James Maddison’s stunning long-range strike against Manchester City has been chosen as the Budweiser Goal of the Month for September.

- Midfielder scored a sublime goal in LCFC’s win at Manchester City
- The 23-year-old has netted 17 times for the Club in all competitions

The midfielder came off the bench to curl a superb effort past Ederson as the Foxes picked up an impressive 5-2 victory at the Etihad Stadium.

The goal put the Foxes 4-1 ahead in the fixture and was the 23-year-old’s first of the campaign, saw him take his overall Leicester City tally to 17 goals in all competitions since he moved to King Power Stadium from Norwich City in June 2018.

Maddison is the first Leicester City player to win the award since Harvey Barnes in August 2019 for his strike against Sheffield United.
