City travel to Butts Park Arena to face Coventry United Ladies on Sunday (2pm kick-off), off the back of victories in both the FA Women's Championship and Continental Tyres League Cup last week.
Following the 1-0 win over Lewes Women, just one point now separates the top four teams in the division, which highlights the importance of gaining another positive result on Sunday, according to Everett.
"Everybody is really up for the game," she told LCFC.com ahead of the encounter, which will be broadcast live and for free on The FA Player.
"We got back to winning ways on Sunday so hopefully we can get another three points at the weekend and keep pushing.
"The team spirit has been really good in training so we can't wait for the game. It was a massive win for us against Lewes off the back of the London City Lionesses game, where we weren't at our best.
"And again in the Blackburn game (in the Conti Cup), we could have done better, so it was a big result for us to get back on track."
After getting a full week of training under their belts, Everett believes the Foxes are fully prepared and ready to go. She is adamant that they will not take Coventry lightly, despite their league position, given what is at stake.
"Obviously they are not as high in the table, but we can't underestimate them," City's No.4 continued. "Any team could beat any other team in this league on their day and we need to be on our game on Sunday.
"We're looking to get promoted, but it's very tight at the top, so we've just got to focus on the next game and make sure we're ready."
Everett, 19, who is into her second season at the Club since joining from Liverpool, also spoke about the transition into professional status over the summer, which she revealed has been aided by adding some established names to an already talented squad.
"It's a big change from last season, moving from part-time to full-time, but we've brought in a lot of experienced players," the versatile midfielder added.
"For me at 19, it's great to be learning so much from players such as Remi Allen and others in the squad, who really help to push us on."
Sunday's game will be available to watch live on The FA Player as part of Women's Football Weekend.
