The Foxes have won three consecutive games in all competitions, beating both Blackburn Rovers and Lewes at home, before an excellent away win at Coventry United two weeks ago.

The 9-1 scoreline against United was a record margin of victory in the FA Women's Championship this season, and more importantly, it moved City up to second in the table, remaining one point behind Durham.

Levell, 23, believes recent results have shown the quality that runs right through the new-look Foxes camp.

"You can see from the [Coventry] result, there were many different goalscorers in that game and that's what we have the ability to do," she told LCFC.com.

"It's not always just the same person scoring goals, so I think that shows the depth we've got in our squad. It was just a long time coming that all the players proved that they can score goals and get on the scoresheet, so we were very happy with that win.

"I think it's all about the momentum. We had lost that against London City Lionesses, but then we knew needed to get back on track.

"It's a long season and the goals that we've set for ourselves, it's about winning and trying to get as many goals and clean sheets under our belts as we can - the momentum will come with that."

Leicester recorded their first shutout since the opening day of the season in the 1-0 victory over Lewes earlier this month, and while Levell was pleased with the clean sheet, she explained that there is a collective focus to take three points from every game.

I think it was all about gelling together at first, getting to know each other's strengths and what they need to improve on, but now we're definitely getting there and hopefully results keep coming our way.

"It was great (to get the clean sheet)," the shot stopper continued. "For me and the back four, we are disappointed about not getting clean sheets, but at the end of the day we're getting the wins.

"I think if we were keeping clean sheets in 0-0 draws, we'd be made up but the team wouldn't be, because we're not winning, so it's okay to sacrifice a few clean sheets as long as we win.

"We know that we've got a very attack-minded team, so we're all just working on the elements of defending in training and realising that we do have to defend at times as well."

City are currently on a three-week gap from league fixtures before they face London Bees on Sunday 6 December (2pm kick-off GMT) and although some of the team are away on international duty, it has still allowed more time to bond in training.

Thumbs up for the three points: Levell believes a good team spirit has been created within the dressing room.

Levell, who joined from Everton in the summer, says she has enjoyed getting to know a new set of team-mates on and off the pitch and believes it has paid dividends when it comes to matchday.

The 23-year-old added: "We've tried to build a relationship with everyone on the pitch so we can turn to them if times are getting tough or just to be there for each other really and make sure we are looking behind and in front and working as hard as we can for that person.

"The wins will come and I think it was all about gelling together at first, getting to know each other's strengths and what they need to improve on, but now we're definitely getting there and hopefully results keep coming our way.

"We're playing lots of small-sided games and keeping it very competitive. We're doing little bits of details on London Bees, even on the international break. We only ever look at the goal in front of us and that's the next game."
