Ahead of their first league meeting since a hotly-contested 2-2 draw on Filbert Way last February, the two sides are separated by six points, with the Foxes currently holding the advantage.

Brendan Rodgers on the 2020/21 campaign so far: "The players have done very, very well. It's been a continuation. If I go back to the summer, when asked about the squad, I said they had really good potential. We'd showed real flashes of that over the course of [last] season. They needed time and consistency. We've shown that, consistently, we've played and performed at a really high level. We've coped with lots of injury setbacks throughout the season and all while looking to maintain our identity and our way of working."
Blues manager Frank Lampard on Leicester's quality, speaking on Monday: "We managed to get above Leicester at the back end of [last] season, but it was a big ask for us because they're a very good team with very good individuals, we know that, and a really good manager and coach in Brendan. They're in the race, there are others too. We have to not consider ourselves, only consider if we can get a result against Leicester, who are a competitor. Can we get wins together that will propel us back to where we want to be?"
Academy graduate Harvey Barnes looks ahead to the coming weeks for the Foxes: "We’ve got three competitions (Premier League, Emirates FA Cup, UEFA Europa League), which we’ve already looked at and we want to do well in all of them. There’s a lot to look forward to for us, and we know there’s no point in having a good first half to the season if the second half doesn’t follow. For us, we need to be fully focused on that, and have a really good second half."
Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount tells chelseafc.com that the weekend's win at Fulham can spur them on: "We’ve been very together the last couple of weeks and hopefully this is the turning point. Now we move on to Tuesday [against Leicester City] and attack that with the same mentality. It’s going to be a tough game - we know how good they are but we played well there last season and got a good result so hopefully we can do that again."
