City enter Monday's fixture aiming to record back-to-back victories after a stunning 7-1 home victory over Southampton in Seagrave last time out.

Jake Wakeling netted a hat-trick, with further second half goals from Tyrese Shade (2), Thanawat Suengchitthawon and Cole Dasilva wrapping up the Foxes' biggest league win of the season.

It was also a big three points in the context of of the season, moving City four points in front of Southampton and now out of the relegation zone - above West Ham United on goal difference.

Leicester now have 10th-placed Arsenal in their sights with the Gunners positioned four points and one place ahead with three games to play.

It was Arsenal who came out on top when the two sides met at Meadow Park in the reverse fixture in December 2020. Defender Darragh O'Connor had levelled the scores after Calum Chambers' opener but Folarin Balogun found a late winner to hand the Gunners a 2-1 win.

Assistant Senior Professional Development Phase Coach Ben Petty assessed the challenge facing the young Foxes on Monday: "We want to finish really strong and, there's no doubt about it, there's some real quality out there.

"For the wrong reasons, there’s pressure on the last three games. The last two or three seasons, we've been up there fighting for it and now we've got a fight to stay in it.

"It's good experience for the players. If we produce what we produced in the second half [against Southampton], then we'll be okay."

Supporters will be able to access a full round-up of the evening's action on LCFC.com following full-time at LCFC Training Ground, while reaction and highlights are set to be published on LCFC TV in the days following the fixture.
