The forward's two first-half goals helped City seal a comfortable 4-0 victory over Charlton Athletic Women on Sunday to see out the 2020/21 FA Women's Championship campaign with a win at King Power Stadium.
Playing at the stadium for the first time, before getting their hands on the silverware, Cain felt it was a fantastic occasion to be a part of.
"I don't think I can [put it into words], to be honest," the ex-Everton striker admitted when speaking to LCFC TV after the trophy lift. "I mean, I thought it had sunk in after we actually won the league a few weeks ago, but today has just been a massive achievement.
"Obviously, we had the loss last week (against Lewes) and we knew we wanted to go out in style this week and not end like that. And I think our first-half performance, especially, was the best that we've played all season.
"It just sums up how far we've come as a team and it's really exciting, to be honest, to see where we're going to go in the future. I can't put into words my excitement right now, I'm absolutely buzzing."
The 22-year-old battled back from a serious injury to score her maiden Foxes goal in a 1-0 home win over Crystal Palace in February and has gone from strength to strength since then, playing a key role in City securing the league title and also netting the winner in the Vitality Women's FA Cup Fifth Round.
She added: "I'm just so overwhelmed. I was saying before the game, I just sat on the pitch and I reflected on the whole season as a collective and then individually for me.
"I thought I'd never play football again and now I'm here at King Power Stadium, it's absolutely unreal facilities at the ground and I've scored two goals and we've lifted the trophy.
"I'm so proud. But it doesn't come without the help of the staff and the players here. I'll never forget, whether part of the group separates or whatever.
"I don't know what's going to happen, but I'll never forget this group as a collective, the staff as a collective, everything.
"They've helped me enjoy football again and that's the main part for me. The fact that we've won the league, we've lifted the trophy at this amazing ground, is just an absolute added bonus. I'm absolutely over the moon!"
