Leicester City are today (Tuesday) able to confirm the release of a further 450 tickets to Foxes fans for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium.

These tickets will be released on sale to Season Ticket Holders with 302+ Away Priority Points from 11:00am on Wednesday 12 May.

While these tickets were included in Leicester City’s original allocation, most of them had been reserved to accommodate the Leicester City operational staff who are required to support the extensive coach provision which the Club is required to implement under the terms of the UK Government’s Events Research Programme (ERP). Arrangements have now been made to accommodate these staff outside of the Club’s allocation and, combined with a small number of further tickets which had been held in contingency, this has enabled the Club to release a final batch of tickets. As the Government’s specified level of coach capacity has already been filled, purchasers of these final tickets will be required to use other means of travel to and from Wembley.

Furthermore, these coach arrangements have now been finalised and the already-subsided cost of the services has been reduced further. These further savings will be passed down to all supporters who have booked coach travel as part of the ERP, with the result that a refund of £7 will be issued for every booked coach space, within the next 14 days.

Leicester City Chief Executive Susan Whelan said: “We’re enormously grateful to our fans for the lengths to which they have gone to comply with ERP protocols relative to Saturday’s final – further than spectators for any event in the ERP up to now.

“Work to release these additional tickets has been ongoing and this means that another 450 Leicester City supporters can be part of what I’m sure will be a memorable occasion.

“It’s also important we recognise the responsibility we all have as participants in the ERP, the results of which will take us all a step closer to the full stadiums and unforgettable experiences to which we’re all longing to return.”

The FA’s CEO, Mark Bullingham, added: “We are looking forward to welcoming supporters from both Leicester City and Chelsea to Wembley Stadium for what proposes to be a fantastic Emirates FA Cup Final. We hope that their involvement in the UK Government’s Events Research Programme will lead to even more supporters being able to attend fixtures in the near future.”

All attendees for Saturday’s Wembley showpiece will be participating in the latest stage of the UK Government’s ERP, details of which can be found HERE. The ERP places a number of conditions on attendance, aimed at testing the capacity of matchday operations and travel logistics. Supporters should familiarise themselves with the requirements before proceeding to purchase tickets.

In particular, all supporters attending the Final are reminded that, if they have not already done so, they MUST complete an ERP consent form as soon as possible, confirming their acceptance of the ERP and its protocols, as a condition of entry to Wembley Stadium. As a result of the release of this final batch of tickets, the final deadline for completion of the ERP consent form is 5pm on Wednesday 12 May. Failure by any supporter to complete the consent form by this deadline will result in that supporter’s ticket purchase being cancelled.

Remaining tickets will be released on sale to Season Ticket Holders with 302+ Away Priority Points from 11:00am on Wednesday 12 May.
