The 19-year-old Academy graduate met Youri Tielemans’ cross with a side-footed finish to set the Foxes on their way to a brilliant 2-1 win at Old Trafford on 11 May, with the strike now up against seven others in this month’s voting.

His goal against the Red Devils was his first in the Premier League and his second overall for the Foxes, having previously found the net in a 3-3 UEFA Europa League draw with Braga in November 2020.

Goals by Danny Welbeck, Bertrand Traoré, Nicolas Pépé, Ferran Torres, Edinson Cavani, Phil Foden and Steven Bergwijn are the competition in the voting for Thomas, with supporters invited to vote online for their favourite here.

The winners will be announced at 1pm on Friday 28 May.
