- Leicester City's Development Squad travel to face Fleetwood Town on Tuesday (7:45pm kick-off)
- The clash at Highbury Stadium is the opening Papa John’s Trophy group stage fixture
- Live updates will be available on the Club’s official social media channels, before reaction via LCFC TV

The regionalised group stage draw pitted City’s Under-21s against both Fleetwood and Accrington Stanley from the third tier, as well as League 2 side Barrow AFC. The Cod Army are first up at Highbury Stadium this week, with the Foxes set to play all three of their Group G fixtures away from home.

Reaching the knockout stages of the competition in 2020/21, Leicester were eventually knocked out by Tranmere Rovers, and will be aiming to hold their own against senior opposition once more this term.

The Foxes have made an unbeaten start to their Premier League 2 Division 1 campaign, meanwhile, drawing both of their fixtures, against Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers

Coach Ben Petty spoke to LCFC TV ahead of the opening game: “It’s a huge test on Tuesday night, completely different to PL2. We’re going to have to be ready and be on our metal. They’ve got to get their energy levels up because we’ll be under the cosh for long periods against a pro League 1 team.”

Supporters can follow all of the action via live Twitter updates on @LCFC, with goals and highlights to be published on LCFC TV following full-time in Fleetwood.
