- Kasper Schmeichel features as Denmark secure a last-gasp 1-0 win at Faroe Islands
- Leicester City team-mate Çağlar Söyüncü also helps Turkey to a 3-0 win over Gibraltar
- Both clashes were in qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar

- Several other Foxes players could appear for their nations over the coming days

Following a 2-0 success over Scotland in Copenhagen on Wednesday, De rød-hvide, who reached the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2020, were looking to preserve their 100 per cent record in qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar next winter.

City No.1 Schmeichel earned his 73rd cap for the visit to Tórsvøllur to face Faroe Islands, who were ultimately defeated via Jonas Wind's 85th-minute winner. The result sees Denmark remain top of Group F, five points clear of Israel, ahead of welcoming them to Parken on Tuesday (7:45pm kick-off).

Elsewhere, centre-back Söyüncü took his international caps tally up to 39 during a 3-0 victory over Gibraltar at Victoria Stadium, courtesy of efforts from Halil Dervişoğlu, Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Kenan Karaman. It keeps the Crescent-Stars one point above Netherlands at the summit of Group G.

Söyüncü's side are due in Amsterdam for their sixth outing of 10 in qualifying on Tuesday (7:45pm kick-off). Check back to LCFC.com over the coming days for updates on the Club's international stars.
