Leicester City’s Development Squad resume their Premier League 2 Division 1 campaign against Crystal Palace Under-23s on Monday evening.

City welcome the Eagles to LCFC Training Ground for their maiden home game of 2021/22 following the international break, with a 7pm kick-off scheduled for the PL2 clash in Seagrave.

The Foxes youngsters are so far unbeaten in the league season, drawing away at Manchester United (2-2) and then Blackburn Rovers (1-1), ahead of defeat to Fleetwood Town in their Papa John’s Trophy opener.

Speaking to LCFC TV following the Fleetwood game, coach Ben Petty said: “We want to gain as much experience as we can at this level. It's a great programme for our lads.

“It's what they want to be doing. They're training every day and they play tough matches every week. It's how they're going to develop."

Leicester currently lie 10th in the early PL2 standings, while Palace are one place and one point above, having played three matches.
