Brendan Rodgers says he will look to rotate his Leicester City starting XI for Wednesday's Carabao Cup tie against Brighton & Hove Albion.

- Leicester City welcome Brighton to King Power Stadium on Wednesday (7:45pm kick-off)
- The two sides meet in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup
- Brendan Rodgers says he is likely to rotate his Foxes squad for the tie
- He also provided an update on Jamie Vardy, who was substituted at Brentford

The Foxes host Graham Potter's side at King Power Stadium in the fourth round of a competition the Club has lifted three times after securing successive victories over Manchester United, Spartak Moscow and Brentford over the past 10 days.

Minimal changes have been made to City's starting XIs through that period and, ahead of Wednesday's cup test, Rodgers was asked if fresh faces will be introduced on Filbert Way this week.

"No doubt," the Northern Irishman told the media following the success at Brentford Community Stadium. "We can't use the same players all the time, so we'll definitely make changes, but it doesn't take away the fact we want to win the game. We'll be bringing good players into the game.

"We'll recover now, do some preparation work over the next couple of days, and then look to get to the quarter-finals."

Jamie Vardy, on the other hand, was substituted at half-time in west London and Rodgers was able to provide an update on City's No.9 afterwards.

The manager added: "He felt something in the warm-up. I could just see in the game that Jamie wasn’t quite himself, wasn’t quite as dynamic, so I don’t want to risk any further injury.

"We made the change and brought in Patson, who’s fresh and confident after his midweek performance."
