Ricardo Pereira and Ayoze Pérez may miss Saturday's visit of Arsenal to King Power Stadium, says Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers.

- Leicester City host Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday (12:30pm BST kick-off)
- Ricardo Pereira and Ayoze Pérez may miss the clash with the Gunners
- The Foxes pair will continue to be monitored by the Club's medical team
- Jamie Vardy is available after sitting out Wednesday's Carabao Cup victory

The Gunners head to the East Midlands on matchday 10 in the 2021/22 Premier League season with both sides enjoying unbeaten runs across all competitions. City are without a defeat in five matches, while the north London outfit's run extends to eight games.

Leicester may be without two players for the clash, though, as Rodgers delivered an update on the fitness of his squad at LCFC Training Ground in Seagrave on Friday afternoon. Both Ricardo and Pérez will be assessed internally over the coming 24 hours before a decision is made on City's squad.

"There's maybe a question mark on Ricardo Pereira," he said. "We’ll see how Ricardo is. He just felt a bit tight from the game the other night. Ayoze Pérez has had a bit of a bug so he was kept away today and we’ll see how he responds. Apart from that, all the players are fit and healthy and ready to go."

Jamie Vardy, on the other hand, was not involved during Wednesday's Carabao Cup shootout victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, after being substituted during the Premier League success at Brentford, but Rodgers says Leicester's No.9 is available for the visit of Arsenal.

"He’s okay," the Northern Irishman added. "He’s trained the last couple of days so he’s fine."
