Young Foxes Put Seven Past Norwich

Leicester City’s Under-18s continued their excellent form on Saturday with a 7-0 win in U18 Premier League South over Norwich City at LCFC Training Ground.

Their success over the weekend saw them make it four games unbeaten across all competitions, while they have also lost just once in eight matches.

City began in incredible fashion, with Joe Wormleighton scoring inside a minute, before Kian Pennant made it 2-0 with five minutes on the clock.

An eight-minute brace from Chris Popov meant the hosts were 4-0 up after 20 minutes, while Pennant bagged a double of his own to hand his side a five-goal lead at the break.

Pennant completed his hat-trick just three minutes into the second half, and then Jack Butterfill struck on 90 minutes complete a comprehensive win in north Leicestershire.

Next up for City is a home encounter with Nottingham Forest in Seagrave in the Premier League U18 Cup on Saturday 27 November (12pm GMT kick-off).
