The 2021/22 Premier League 2 campaign continues for Leicester City’s Development Squad this Friday evening as the Foxes meet Leeds United Under-23s (7pm kick-off).

- Leicester City's Development Squad tackle Leeds United Under-23s on Friday (7pm kick-off)
- Just one point separates the two sides in the current Premier League 2 Division 1 standings
- The Foxes were defeated 3-0 by Liverpool last time out, while Leeds lost to Man City
- The Club’s official social media channels will provide live updates from the fixture

York Community Stadium is the venue for City’s 13th fixture of the league season, against a side sitting one place and one point behind Leicester, who are currently 11th in the PL2 table.

The youngsters defeated the Whites 1-0 in the reverse fixture at King Power Stadium, courtesy of Tawanda Maswanhise’s 60th-minute strike.

However, City’s recent record has seen them defeated in their previous two matches and coach Ben Petty is keen to see a more consistent performance level ahead of the winter break.

Liverpool were 3-0 victors last Sunday, following a 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, while Friday's hosts Leeds have lost their last four.

Petty told LCFC.com: “We’ve had two defeats in a week and I think it’s very important that we put a stop to that because winning and losing becomes a habit and it’s not something that we want to get into. So, we’re fully focused on being much harder to beat on Friday and putting in another good performance.”

Supporters will be able to follow the encounter via the Club’s official social media channels, which will house team news at 6pm and regular, live updates on @LCFC Twitter.

Then, after full-time, LCFC.com will provide a full round-up of the evening’s events, before post-match interviews and highlights are set to be published on LCFC TV in the days following the fixture.
