City’s youngsters arrive in round five of the competition following a last-gasp 1-0 home victory over Crewe Alexandra in the previous round, when Jack Butterfill’s late finish was enough to seal further progression for the side coached by Adam Barradell.

That result followed a 2-0 triumph over competition holders Aston Villa at Villa Park in round three, thanks to strikes from Kian Pennant and Chris Popov.

The Cherries, meanwhile, defeated Exeter City 2-0 before also overcoming Queens Park Rangers by the same scoreline, to enter the same stage that Leicester reached in 2020/21 before losing out to eventual finalists Liverpool.

Match tickets for the game are available to purchase, HERE. Priced at £5 for adults, £3 for over-65s, under-21s and students and £1 for under-18, they will also be on sale at the Vitality Stadium ticket office or by calling Bournemouth’s ticket office on 01202 726300 (option 1). Supporters are advised to book their tickets online to avoid potential telephone queues.

Foxes fans not able to make the trip can stay across all of Friday night’s action on the south coast by following the Club’s official Twitter channel, @LCFC, which will house team news at 6pm and regular match updates throughout the game.

A round-up of the events and reaction from the Foxes camp is then set to be available after the full-time whistle.
