Leicester City's Development Squad are now unbeaten in six matches after a 0-0 stalemate at Derby County on Sunday afternoon.

Goalkeeper Chituru Odunze and forward Will Alves came into the Foxes XI after the 0-0 draw with Premier League 2 Division 1 leaders Manchester City at LCFC Training Ground on 28 February.

It was a largely uneventful first half at Derby's Moor Farm training facility, with Darren Robinson heading over for the Rams, before Josh Shonibare had an effort deflected behind for a corner. City's best chance of the opening 45 minutes, on the other hand, arrived just before the half-time whistle.

It came about as Oliver Ewing cut inside his man in the area before firing wide from 12 yards out. After the break, Wanya Marcal-Madivadua forced Harry Seaden into an impressive stop, before Shane Flynn then rattled the woodwork for the visitors.

Seaden made another good save to frustrate Sammy Braybrooke later on, while Ola Ibrahim saw his strike cleared off the line for the home side. Derby nearly won it late on, too, as Shonibare's drive needed pushing away from danger by Odunze.

The result leaves Leicester's Under-23s eighth in the PL2 standings on 28 points from 20 matches. Their next outing sees them travel to Lamex Stadium to tackle Tottenham Hotspur on Friday 18 March (7pm GMT kick-off).
