Newcastle United provide Leicester City’s next Premier League opponents as the pair meet at St. James’ Park on Sunday (2:15pm kick-off).

Brendan Rodgers’ men are on the road again this weekend, tackling a rejuvenated Newcastle side under the stewardship of Eddie Howe.

Both teams are coming into this game off the back of home wins in their previous Premier League fixtures - City defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 last Sunday, while United overcame Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 two days earlier.

Who's starring on LCFC Radio? 

Foxes promotion-winner Simon Grayson will form part of LCFC Radio’s commentary team on Sunday.

Leicester legends Matt Elliott and Gerry Taggart will join presenter Lewis Mason in the studio for Matchday Live, offering their thoughts during the 90-minute preview show which begins at 12:45pm.

Broadcasting via @LCFC social media and the dedicated LCFC.com Match Centre, supporters can also hear from another ex-Foxes captain, Simon Grayson, during the pre-match build-up.

Grayson will be live from St. James’ Park, alongside John Dunn, to bring minute-by-minute commentary of the 2:15pm kick-off, exclusively on LCFC.com.  

Following full-time in Newcastle, there’s a further 30 minutes of coverage as the trio analyse all the action across the Club's digital channels.

What's the officiating team?

Australian referee Jarred Gillett will take charge of the clash with the Magpies.

Jarred Gillett is set to be the man in the middle on Sunday, alongside assistants Dan Cook and James MainwaringMartin Atkinson will be on the touchline as the fourth official with Lee Mason in the VAR, assisted by Wade Smith.

What happened last time?

Patson Daka, James Maddison and Youri Tielemans scored the goals that saw the Foxes pick up three points in their last meeting with Newcastle.

Leicester recorded a comprehensive 4-0 success over Newcastle at King Power Stadium in December 2021, courtesy of a brace from Youri Tielemans and a goal apiece for Patson Daka and James Maddison.

The Foxes also triumphed on their last visit to St. James’ Park during the 2020/21 season, winning 2-1 in January 2021. Again it was Tielemans and Maddison on the scoresheet before Andy Carroll’s scored a consolation for the Magpies.
