James Maddison joined an illustrious club last month when the Leicester City midfielder won the Mens Player of the Season prize.

- James Maddison scooped the 2021/22 Mens Player of the Season prize last month
- The England midfielder scored 18 goals across all competitions for the Foxes
- Past winners include Esteban Cambiasso, Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy

Maddison, 25, enjoyed a sterling campaign for the Foxes, becoming the first player since Riyad Mahrez to register double figures of goals and assists in a single season for the Club. It was a season which saw City match their fourth-best Premier League finish and reach a European semi-final.

"These are the moments you look back on when you finish your career and I’m over the moon with it," Leicester's No.10 said after collecting his trophy at King Power Stadium in May. "It’s such an honour, especially with the talented team we have here at Leicester, so it’s a big thank you."

Past recipients of the POTS prize, on the other hand, include the likes of Steve Walsh, Matt Elliott, Esteban Cambiasso and Harry Maguire. More recently, names including Kasper Schmeichel, Ricardo Pereira, Jamie Vardy and Youri Tielemans have scooped the prestigious honour.

To further celebrate Maddison's achievement, LCFC.com has taken a walk down memory lane to recall all of the POTS winners since Leicester City moved to Filbert Way 20 years ago this summer...
