The exciting 18-year-old makes the temporary switch to Belvoir Drive on a season-long loan agreement having already spent three seasons in senior women’s football.

Speaking to LCFC TV, Jones said: “I am really pleased and excited to get started. I am very impressed with Belvoir Drive, and I can't wait to get going. The facilities here are really good and that shows how well they are supported in the women's game - it's a huge advantage that LCFC Women have.

"I am really excited to work with Lydia Bedford. What she's done for this team over the last couple of months has been positive. She wants to take this team to the next level, and I can't wait to be a part of that."

After graduating from the Cardiff City Ladies youth system in 2019, Jones made her FA Women's National League South debut for the Bluebirds aged 15. That season, the youngster would go on to make nine more appearances, scoring three goals.

To date, the talented youngster has made 10 appearances for the Manchester outfit across two seasons, five of which have come in league competition.

Jones has now linked up with her new team-mates at Belvoir Drive to commence her pre-season campaign.
