A foot injury for Dennis Praet will be assessed before Saturday's visit to Tottenham Hotspur, says Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers.

- Brendan Rodgers provides an update on the fitness of his Leicester City squad
- The Foxes are set to face Tottenham Hotspur away from home on Saturday (5:30pm BST kick-off)
- Dennis Praet could be involved in north London after a foot issue
- Ryan Bertrand's inclusion in the Club's 25-man Premier League squad is also discussed

The Belgium midfielder hasn't featured for the Foxes since the 2-1 reverse at Chelsea in late August. On Saturday, City are due in north London to tackle Antonio Conte's Spurs

"Dennis Praet has been out for a few days, but he should come back in tomorrow and should be okay," Rodgers said. "Apart from that, everyone was okay. It’s just his foot. He’s had an ongoing issue for a little while. He’s tried to play through it, but he’s been off for a few days to allow that to recover.

"He was out on the pitches with our rehabilitation team today and he should be okay."

Following confirmation of City's 25-man Premier League squad, Rodgers also explained why Ryan Bertrand, currently out with a knee injury, was included. Ricardo Pereira, on the other hand, was omitted after sustaining a ruptured Achilles in the summer.

On Bertrand's greater likelihood to return before 2023, Rodgers added: "That’s the reason why Ryan has been made available and Ricardo hasn’t. We're not expecting Ricardo back until sometime in the New Year. Every player we reckon can get fit in the period, they’re in the squad."
