This weekend’s fixtures against Tottenham Hotspur represent the first games for LCFC’s Men’s and Women’s teams since the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Men’s First Team travel to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 17 September (5:30pm kick-off), and both sets of fans are invited to join in paying tribute to the life and service of Her Majesty and mark the beginning of the reign of King Charles III.

Supporters are advised to be in their seats early, with the players to be led straight out to the centre circle by both managers at approximately 5:24pm, which will be followed by a minute’s silence and the National Anthem – God Save The King.

LCFC Women are also scheduled to face Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, with the game taking place at King Power Stadium on Sunday (3pm KO) and a minute’s silence to be followed by the National Anthem ahead of the match.

During both fixtures, players on all teams will wear black armbands and fans are invited to join in a minute’s applause on the 70th minute in recognition of the length of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s reign.

Please be aware supporters entering the stadium during the minute’s silence may be restricted from accessing their seating area while the silence is in progress.
