Leicester City’s Under-18s defeated Fulham Under-18s 2-1 at LCFC Training Ground on Saturday.

Playing for the first time since August, the young Foxes were able to put three points on the board in the U18 Premier League South division, registering their maiden victory this term.

Continuing his fine scoring form, Amani Richards broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark, assisted by Reece Evans.

Just three minutes later, the 17-year-old doubled his and Leicester's tally when Ben Grist set the forward up to move the hosts into a more comfortable position.

That's how it stayed until the third minute of stoppage time when Liam McAlinney's own goal denied City a clean sheet in Seagrave, but did not alter the result.

The win moves the Foxes up to 10th in the league table, on four points, having won one and drawn one of their opening four matches.

After the international break, the team, coached by Adam Barradell, travel to face Brighton & Hove Albion Under-18s at AMEX Elite Football Performance Centre on Saturday 1 October (11am BST kick-off).
