Manchester City's Under-18s beat Leicester City's Under-18s 1-0 in the U18 Premier League Cup on Saturday.

Playing their second group stage fixture, after City's youngsters' defeat to Norwich City on matchday one, it was the Citizens who came out on top at LCFC Training Ground last weekend.

Justin Oboavwoduo's 44th-minute strike proved to be the difference between the teams, leaving Leicester third in the table, ahead of facing Blackburn Rovers in the final group fixture in Seagrave on Saturday 5 November (12:30pm kick-off).

In U18 Premier League South, meanwhile, the side coached by Adam Barradell are placed 10th, prior to meeting Crystal Palace at LCFC Training Ground in their next home league game on Saturday 22 October (11am kick-off).
