Leicester City's Development Squad travel to Tottenham Hotspur Under-21s for their latest Premier League 2 Division 1 clash on Friday.

- Tottenham Hotspur are Leicester City's next Premier League 2 opponents
- The Development Squad travel to Lamex Stadium on Friday (7pm kick-off)
- The division's bottom two clubs are meeting in a crunch clash
- Supporters can follow all of the action via @LCFC's digital channels

The Foxes' meeting with Manchester United fell foul to the weather earlier this week, providing extra time on the training pitch ahead of another crucial PL2 encounter.

Lamex Stadium in Stevenage is the venue for the 7pm kick-off, with Leicester, currently bottom of the standings, hoping to cut the gap to 13th-placed Spurs. Six points currently separate the sides, who have both played 19 of their 26 league fixtures.

The Lilywhites come into this one having lost 4-3 to Fulham last Friday, their first defeat in six, while City were beaten 1-0 by Blackburn Rovers last time out at LCFC Training Ground.

The previous meeting between the pair ended all square in Seagrave last August, when a Charlie Sayers own goal and Tawanda Maswanhise's strike twice had Leicester ahead, but goals from Malachi Walcott and Nile John ensured the north Londoners returned to the capital with a share of the spoils.

Speaking this week, Under-21s coach Ben Petty said: “Recent games have been settled really on minor details – a penalty against Wolves, a very early goal against Blackburn. But there was nothing in them. I would expect a very tight game on Friday with a lot on it for both teams.”

Friday's match will be available to follow across LCFC's social media channels, with team news from 6pm, ahead of live in-game updates on Twitter. A full round-up on the action will be published to LCFC.com after full-time, with post-match interviews and highlights to follow via LCFC TV
