The Foxes have five players out on loan, with four of them in action, all featuring in the Championship, as the pressure for survival intensifies heading into the final straight of fixtures.
Coventry United, who are currently bottom of the standings, were in action against Sunderland last Sunday. Ellen Jones came off the bench, and Connie Scofield played the full 90 minutes as they fell to a 3-0 defeat against the Black Cats.
Goals in either half from Katy Watson, Abbey Joice and Brianna Westrup condemned Coventry to their 14th defeat of the season.
The Blades themselves were in action and were beaten 1-0 by Crystal Palace, as Sophie Barker played the full match. A single goal from Coral-Jade Haines in the 57th minute means that Sunday's game against Sunderland could be a key opportunity for points, and with it, the chance to lift themselves up to ninth and away from the drop zone.
Further up the table, Charlie Devlin continues to impress for Birmingham City, who most recently claimed a 2-2 draw with Charlton, who on equal points, remain one place behind the Blues, who sit fourth with 17 points.
Devlin started, as Jade Pinnock and Louise Quinn scored for the Midlands club, who face off against Barclays Women's Super League opponents Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend, in the Vitality Women's FA Cup Quarter-Finals.
In the FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division, dual registered midfielder Monique Robinson started Loughborough Lightning's 2-2 draw with top of the table Nottingham Forest on Thursday evening.
The youngster played 85 minutes at Loughborough University Stadium as a brace from Kayleigh Hines had the hosts two up at the break, before Arryana Daniels and Laura-Jayne O'Neill ensured the points were shared. Loughborough remain bottom, without a league win this term.
Elsewhere, Natasha Flint was not involved in Celtic's 2-0 win over Hibernian on Sunday, which keeps the Hoops second in the Scottish Women's Premier League standings.
On the international stage, goalkeeper Sophia Poor, who is dual registered with Loughborough, has been representing England Under-17s alongside Ava Baker, and successfully kept a clean sheet in a 4-0 win against Belgium, which saw her Leicester team-mate find the net in the 75th minute after being introduced as a substitute.
