Members of Leicester City's first team playing squad were in Seagrave on Monday to commence the Club's preparations for the 2023/24 season.

Back in the Sky Bet Championship, with a clear target to return to the Premier League, the Foxes will be led this term by Italian Enzo Maresca. The new Manager was there on Monday to meet a large cohort of his squad for the first time.

Player among those to report for duty were new signings Conor Coady and Harry Winks. Hamza Choudhury and Marc Albrighton, previously away on loan stints, were also in attendance for the first day of what promises to be an intense pre-season. Some of the players who featured in international games this summer are due back at a later date.

Jamie Vardy, Harvey Barnes and James Justin - who have all represented England - were among some more familiar faces.

Monday will include testing inside the gym and the expansive King Power Centre dome, before outdoor sessions later on. Maresca, on the other hand, is due to be formally unveiled as Manager and address the national media at 1:30pm.

City's pre-season will include friendlies at home and abroad, including stays in Bangkok and Singapore. The new season begins at home against M69 derby foes Coventry City on Sunday 6 August (12pm kick-off).
