Leicester City Under-23s captain Elliott Moore has called for more of the same after an encouraging performance during the 0-0 draw with Derby County at St George’s Park.

Leicester City Under-23s captain Elliott Moore has called for more of the same after an encouraging performance during the at St George’s Park. 

The visitors had several chances to emerge from Burton-Upon-Trent with all three points but it was their defensive display which earned the most plaudits on a testing evening against Darren Wassall’s men. 

Speaking to at full-time, Moore said: “The boys worked hard and we kept a clean sheet which is one of our goals. We now need to go on from here and hopefully get three points on Sunday. 

It lifts everyone, training has been good and we need to go forward from this and keep getting point. We’ve been working hard and putting it into games. The results have been showing that so it’s all good.

“The game wasn’t one with a lot of chances. We do need to take chances if we want to get points but we deserve this one tonight. Every game is a test, we just need to keep doing what we’re doing.”
