Morgan Brown scored a fine goal from distance as Leicester City Under-18s picked up a valuable 1-1 draw away to Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday afternoon.

Trevor Peake’s men went into the clash after slipping to but they came out at the Spurs training ground intent on delivering a strong performance. 

The young Foxes, on the back of , were unfortunate to find themselves level before the break when Adam Harrison’s clearance deflected off Reo Griffiths and into the young goalkeeper’s net. 

City continued to pose a threat on the counter attack and they could have snatched three points at the end in the capital when Cal Templeton, who excelled at the Mercedes-Benz Junior Cup last month, sent a header wide. 

Leicester next face Chelsea, their FA Youth Cup sixth round opponents, at Belvoir Drive in the league on Saturday 11 February before travelling to Midlands rivals Aston Villa the following weekend.
