Rangers are fighting to gain themselves some momentum for the play-offs, where they will be looking to join City in the Premier League, and with star names such as Charlie Austin and Ravel Morrison at their disposal, will be a tricky prospect.
“They’ve got goals,” said Pearson. “And if you look at QPR’s season, certainly in the early part, they kept a lot of clean sheets and needed to because they weren’t scoring too freely, but they’ve got players capable of scoring goals.
“It’s very hard to keep keeping clean sheets, but we know they’re a very capable side.
“Our biggest thing is to get our focus 100% and make sure that our standards remain very high. That’s what we’ve tried to do all year.
“It’s nice to have been able to achieve promotion before the end of the season, but in some ways now that’s been put to the back of our minds and we prepare for the next four games.
“I think it’s important that we try to enjoy the end of the season, but to enjoy it we’ve got to get the right results.”
