Year 5 pupils have been taking part in a one hour Literacy session followed by a one hour coaching session provided by our LCFC qualified coaches.
This 10 week programme equips the pupils with strong literacy skills across the spoken and written word, whilst using football to improve attitudes to learning.
As well as this, it furthers pupils sport provision, helping to encourage an active lifestyle. This scheme of work can be adapted to suit Years 5, 6, 7 and 8.
In addition to this we also have a smaller 5 week programme which focuses on pupil’s writing.
