Leicester City Development Squad forward Marcel Barrington has joined Nuneaton Town on a two-month loan deal.
The former Stoke City youngster has been a regular with City’s Under-21s during the past two seasons, scoring some spectacular goals for Steve Beaglehole’s side in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League and showing a potent combination of power and pace.
The 19-year-old follows Under-21 striker Simonas Stankevicius to Nuneaton, the Lithuanian international having also joined the Conference Premier side on a two month loan deal last week. Winger Adam Dawson returned from the club earlier this month, having represented Nuneaton five times, scoring twice in the process.
Barrington will hope that his first involvement for Nuneaton will be the team's home clash against Chester at the weekend.
